Almost every Auckland wedding we cover has family somewhere else — the Philippines, India, China, the UK, the Islands. Visas fall through, flights cost too much, grandparents can’t travel. A livestream doesn’t replace being there, but it means your lola, your nana or your whole hometown watches you say your vows live — and you will see them in the comments before you have even signed the register.
This is not a phone on a tripod. It is a multi-camera setup with clip mics on the celebrant and groom and bonded cellular internet and a dedicated operator, run by the same team covering your wedding — so the stream is framed like a film, the vows are actually audible, and nobody has to hand their phone to an uncle at the worst possible moment.
The link is private: you decide who gets it, and only they can watch.

Before you ask
What does the venue need?
Less than you would think. We do not depend on venue wifi — we stream over bonded cellular, several mobile connections combined into one, so a venue with weak wifi or a single patchy bar is still workable. We check this with your venue before the day — and tell you honestly if a location can’t support a stable stream.
Is the stream private?
Yes. It runs on a private link shared only with the people you choose. It is your wedding, not public broadcasting.
Can overseas family watch on a phone or smart TV?
Yes — the link works on phones, tablets, laptops and TVs. If your grandparents can open a message, they can watch your wedding.
Can you stream a multi-day cultural wedding?
Yes — we regularly stream ceremonies from Indian, Chinese, Filipino and Middle Eastern weddings so family abroad can join every event.
What does it cost?
Livestream starts from NZ$1,725 including GST for the ceremony — on its own, or as an add-on to our packages, priced by what you want streamed — enquire with your date and venue for current pricing.
Can we just livestream it ourselves for free?
Yes, and sometimes you should. A phone on a tripod streaming to a private group costs nothing, and it works if your ceremony is indoors, short, close to the celebrant and on a solid connection. It falls over on the part that matters most: the vows are the quietest thing that happens all day, and a phone microphone ten rows back will not pick them up. Nobody is watching it either, so if it drops mid-ceremony it stays dropped.
What happens if the internet drops mid-ceremony?
We do not run on venue wifi as the primary connection. The stream goes out over bonded cellular, several mobile connections combined into one, so if a single network drops the stream keeps going. An operator watches it for the whole ceremony rather than pressing start and walking away.
How do you get clean audio on the vows?
Clip mics on the celebrant and the groom, so the stream hears what they hear rather than what the room hears. Where the venue has a good PA, we take a feed from that instead. We decide which at the venue check, not on the day.
Do we get a recording afterwards?
The replay stays on the same private link after the day for anyone who missed it live. The ceremony footage also feeds into your wedding film, so the vows end up in the edit as well, properly cut and graded, rather than living only inside a stream.
