SuperGibo Photography (“we”, “us”) is an Auckland-based wedding photography and film studio. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we look after it, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
When you send an inquiry through our forms, we collect the details you provide: your names, email address, phone number, wedding date, venue or location, the services you are interested in, how you found us, and anything you tell us about your day.
Like most websites, we also collect basic analytics information (pages visited, approximate location, device type) through cookies. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser or our cookie notice.
Why we collect it
We use your inquiry details to respond to you, check availability for your date, prepare a tailored quote, and manage your booking if you go ahead. We use the “how you found us” information to understand which channels couples discover us through. We never sell your information or use it for third-party marketing.
Where it’s stored and who we share it with
Your inquiry details are stored securely on this website, in our Google Workspace (email and a private spreadsheet), and — if you book with us — in our studio management system (Pixieset), which handles contracts, questionnaires, invoicing, and scheduling.
Payments are processed by Stripe, PayPal, Afterpay, or direct bank transfer — we never see or store your full card details. We only share your information with these service providers to the extent needed to run our business, and with no one else unless required by law.
Your photos
Wedding images shown on this website and our social media are displayed with our clients’ permission under our photography agreement. If you are one of our couples and would like an image removed, just ask — we will always respect your wishes.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@supergibo.com and we will action your request promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
